These mounts were specifically designed around the USMC M40A3 rifle platform. This allows the user to mount night vision in front of the riflescope by clamping this mount around the forend of the rifle. An extra 1913 rail is mounted on the side of the mount for IR illumination, laser etc. Made of 6061-T6 Aluminum and Type III hard anodized OD Green.
