From scope rings to action screws, consistency and accuracy of tightening torque are important factors to consider in order to keep your guns in their best shape. Scopes can be severely damaged if rings are tightened considerably above or below the torque specs, and your rifle is likely not going to shoot well if actions screws tightening torque values are not controlled.
