Meet the Team
Pat Harrigan is President of Down Range Solutions Group, and owner of Critical Capabilities LLC. A native of San Diego, California, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering at the United States Military Academy at West Point, before joining the U.S. Army Infantry in 2009. Following graduation of Ranger School, he was assigned to 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, in Fairbanks, Alaska. From 2011-2012, he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, serving as a Platoon Leader and Battalion Air Operations Officer. Upon his return, he attended Special Forces Assessment and Selection, and graduated the Special Forces Qualification Course in 2015. Assigned as Detachment Commander of ODA 3133, he again deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from 2015-2016. He left the Army at the end of 2016 in order to devote himself to his wife Rocky (@RockysGuns), new baby Reagan, and the development of his business interests.
Kevin "Chief" Peterson
Kevin is the COO of U.S. Optics. Chief spent 30 years serving in the United States Air Force, starting out in the Munitions Systems Career Field (AMMO 461/2W0). During his time, he served at various locations including MacDill AFB, Kunsan Korea, Langley AFB, Dyess AFB, Sheppard AFB, Spangdahlem AB Germany, Aviano AB Italy, Minot AFB, and Ellsworth AFB. A vast amount of his early profession was spent working with munitions, Conventional and Nuclear. Kevin also was a Master Instructor for the Air Force, teaching entry level Technical School, Advanced Munitions School, Field Training, and Foreign National students. Later, in his career he achieved the highest enlisted rank, Chief Master Sergeant. Kevin was a Squadron Chief, Group Chief (twice), and then selected to be Command Chief of Ellsworth Air Force Base serving for three Base Commanders.
Tanner Ford is the Operations Manager for U.S. Optics DRSG. Tanner is originally from Lubbock, TX where he grew up enjoying the love of firearms while hunting and shooting short and long range in the plains of Texas. His dream has always been to be an influencer in the firearms industry.
After college Tanner followed his dream and went to work for Falkor in Kalispell MT. His dedication, knowledge of firearms, and strong work ethic, soon projected him into the Dracos Barrel Assembly Lead position. Tanner took a new line of cutting edge barrels and developed a non-stop team, ensuring the assembly process was streamlined and efficient.
